Jasprit Bumrah Rulled Out; Team India has taken a big hit because star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah may not be able to play in the T20 World Cup, which starts next month in Australia. The best pacer has been having trouble with a stiff back, which will keep him out of action for almost four to six weeks.
All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was also hurt and had to miss the World Cup before Jasprit Bumrah. It’s interesting that this is not the first time that players from the Indian team have been hurt and had to miss an ICC tournament.

1 Jasprit Bumrah
Jasprit Bumrah was probably India’s most important player at the T20 World Cup. India was thought to be a strong team because Bumrah was there in the last few overs. But he has been having trouble with a stiff back lately. He missed the whole Asia Cup in 2022 and came back for the series against Australia that just ended. He played in the last two T20Is and was full of life. Bumrah didn’t play in the first T20I against South Africa and is probably also out of the T20 World Cup.
The injury to Bumrah is a big setback for the team, and India will now have to find a bowler who can bowl in the last few overs.
2 Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja is an all-rounder who has been an important part of India’s team in recent years. In the last few years, Jadeja has become a better batter, which has helped the Indian team a lot.
But the all-rounder from Saurashtra got hurt in a strange way during the Asia Cup 2022, which just ended. Jadeja’s injury from the Asia Cup will take him a long time to get better, and the team will miss him a lot.
3 Virender Sehwag
Two T20 World Cups were missed by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag because of injuries. Sehwag went to England with the Indian team for the 2009 T20 World Cup, but there was always some doubt about how well he could play.
Sehwag had problems with his fitness, so he was taken out of the competition. Dinesh Karthik later took Sehwag’s place in that World Cup. The batter from Delhi also couldn’t play in the 2010 T20 World Cup because he was hurt. Murali Vijay took his place on the team.
4 Ishant Sharma
Ishant Sharma got a chance to turn his ODI career around at the 2015 ODI World Cup. Even though Ishant came on the scene as a bowler who could play in all formats, he was known as a Test specialist and was an important part of the Test team when Virat Kohli was captain.
Also, when Ishant was added to the ODI team before the ODI World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, everyone was surprised. Ishant was really looking forward to the World Cup. But Ishant got hurt seven days before the World Cup started and had to miss it.
5 Manish Pandey
Manish Pandey’s international career has been a talking point for many cricket experts. He hasn’t been very good with the bat, and Team India has been in and out of him.
But this star batsman from Karnataka’s injury before the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy was the worst thing that ever happened to him. Manish was a part of the Indian team led by Virat Kohli that went to the ICC Champions Trophy. However, due to injury, he lost his place on the team. Even though Manish Pandey was very successful in IPL and domestic cricket.He never made it back to the Indian team.
