India’s T20 World Cup team, squad, and player list for 2022: Here’s the full list. India has named its 15-person team for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. Pacer Jasprit Bumrah is back from injury and will be part of the team.
Axar Patel supposedly taking Jadeja’s place in the team
All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who got hurt during the Asia Cup, was not on the team, though. Harshal Patel, another fast bowler, also came back to the team after missing the Asia Cup because of a side strain.
Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh are the other two pace bowlers on the team. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is an all-rounder. The spin specialists are R Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Axar Patel, with Patel supposedly taking Jadeja’s place in the team.

Rohit Sharma is the captain, and KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, and Dinesh Karthik are all in the batting line-up.
Pacer Mohammad Shami, along with fellow pacer Deepak Chahar, leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi, and batter Shreyas Iyer, have been named as standby players.

India will host a three-game T20I series against Australia before the big tournament. And then they will play a T20I and ODI series against South Africa. India chose their teams for both T20Is, which will be a dress rehearsal for all three teams.
