IPL 2022, CSK Predicted XI vs PBKS: Chennai Super Kings Likely To Stick To Winning Combination

It’s the IPL in 2022, and the Chennai Super Kings take on the Punjab Kings to try to get back on top.

They lost four games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, but now they’re in a better place after winning two of their last three games. Because of their dramatic last-ball victory over Mumbai Indians, they want to keep going when they play Punjab Kings in the IPL. CSK would move ahead of PBKS on the IPL 2022 points table if they won. PBKS has only won three games. PBKS won the first game between the two teams this season thanks to Liam Livingstone’s all-around play. If Ravindra Jadeja’s team does better this time, it’s hoped that things will be different.

Here’s how we think CSK will fare against Punjab Kings:

Ruturaj Gaikwad: With Gujarat Titans, he made a great 50 against them. He’s not been able to do much else this season. If CSK wants to get their season back on track, the opener has to do a good job.

Robin Uthappa: He has done well this season, including a career-best 88 against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first game. As long as the veteran batsman starts the ball rolling for CSK when they play against PBKS, they’ll be all the better off.

Mitchell Santner: CSK’s last game saw the New Zealand spinner fill in for an injured Moeen Ali. He did well, taking a wicket and giving up just 16 runs in three overs. There is a good chance they will keep using the New Zealand all-rounder in the PBKS match-up.

Ambati Rayudu: Experience hasn’t dulled veteran Rayudu’s skills, but CSK needs more consistency from a player like Rayudu.

Dwaine Pretorius: A big part of CSK’s victory over MI was thanks to how well the South African played all over the field. Even with the ball, he can take wickets, as he did in the T20 World Cup in 2021. Keep him in the team after a good start to the season.

Ravindra Jadeja: The new CSK captain, Jadeja, hasn’t done very well with bat or ball so far, but he wants to change that soon.

Shivam Dube: CSK’s best hitter this season has been in the middle order. They hope he can keep up the good work.

MS Dhoni: This performance against MI by Mahendra Singh Dhoni put any remaining doubts about Dhoni’s ability to close out games to rest.

Dwayne Bravo: There have been more wickets taken by the veteran West Indies all-rounder this season than any other. A master of the game will be needed when he plays against the PBKS hitters.

Maheesh Theekshana: Theekshana has been a great start for CSK, taking seven wickets in four games. They will rely on him to keep a dangerous batting order in check.

Mukesh Chowdhary: Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma have all been taken by the left-arm bowler recently, and he’s been getting better and better as he goes through games. if the new ball moves at all, he will make it hard for Punjab’s top order to play well
