Ishan Kishan Double centuary

In One Day International (ODI) cricket, there have been 10 double centuries. Rohit Sharma has scored the most runs in ODIs by himself (264). Rohit is the only player to score three double centuries in ODIs. Here’s a list of everyone who has scored a double century in an ODI.

A double century in an ODI (One Day International) used to be like a dream. It was Belinda Clark of Australia who did it first. When she played Denmark on December 16, 1997, she scored 229* runs. Against South Africa in 2010, Sachin Tendulkar became the first man to score a double century in an ODI. So far, there have been 10 double centuries in ODIs. There are three Indian batsmen there. In ODI history, Rohit Sharma is the only player to score three double centuries.

Double hundred for Ishan Kishan

Indian batsman Kishan hit the fastest double-hundred in men’s ODIs today in Chattogram. He played against Bangladesh. Kishan got to 200 runs fast. It took him just 126 balls. His score of 210 included 24 boundaries and 10 maximums. Kishan holds the record for being the youngest. He’s only 24. In 2015, Chris Gayle hit a double-hundred in 138 balls against Bangladesh. Virat Kohli scored his 72nd century in international cricket in the same game. In 91 balls, he scored 113 runs. Kohli is just one behind Sachin Tendulkar, who has 100 international centuries.

Going into the last match, the hosts already led the ODI series 2-0. The starting 11s for both teams were different. Bangladesh made two changes, and India’s captain changed because Rohit Sharma was injured. The team had to make a change for the third game, so Ishan Kishan came in.
